    Event Description:

    The second session of our special Eclipse Community Lecture Series will be presented by Jon and Susan Brewster, local astronomers recently featured in the Itemizer Observer. They will share eclipse lore, what to see, how to be safe, and answer audience questions.

    Jon and Susan have been watching the stars since Halley's Comet visited our planet in 1986, and began planning for this eclipse in 1991.


    The event is free and open to the public and provides an excellent opportunity for community members to engage and explore informational topics related to current areas of research and expertise. On-campus parking (in Lot B) is free, and light refreshments will be provided. Reception begins at 5:30 pm; presentation begins at 6:00 pm. All members of the community are cordially invited.
