MUSIC IN THE PARKS

Wednesdays in Main Street Park in Monmouth & Friday's in Independence at Riverfront Park. There's also movies on Thursday nights in Riverfront Park.
FOURTH OF JULY
An old fashined Fourth of July celebration within the two communities including 3 - 4 days of parades, picnics, contests, craft fairs, recreation, and one of the best firework shows in the Northwest!
HOPS & HERITAGE FESTIVAL
The Independence Hop & Heritage Festival is a 2 night, 1 day event, held in late September of every year. You won't want to miss the traditional "Ghost Walk" or the fun filled activities including the Lawn Mower Races, Tractor Pull and Car Show! GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Monmouth-Independence Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual golf tournament. It’s a scramble style tournament held at Cross Creek Golf Course, immediatley followed by an awards ceremony and a BBQ. This event is to raise necessary funds for the Monmouth-Independence Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
