Consulate General of Canada to Visit
the Mid-Willamette Valley
As a service to our members and community, the MI Chamber is excited to participate in a discussion of international trade with Canadian officials. We are honored to have join us for this event, Consul General James Hill, Head of Political Harkiran Rajasansi, Head of Trade Michael Wooff, and Investment Manager Lewis Coughlin.
This program is offered in partnership with area Chambers of Commerce and SEDCOR and is designed to educate manufacturers, agricultural businesses, and other Mid-Willamette Valley industries on how to trade with Canada, why to invest in Canada, and other key issues including international business development programs. The event will be from 9 AM to 11 AM on Tuesday, October 13th at Chemeketa’s Center for Business & Industry (626 High Street NE, Salem). Seating is limited. Bring your family and friends and join us for Spooktacular Bingo as part of the Monmouth Downtown Halloween Spectacular! The Chamber will host open bingo sessions from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Volunteer Hall (144 Warren Street S, Monmouth).
Play one game or stay longer for more,
bingo cards are only $1 each or $10 for 12!
In addition to bingo, we will have a costume contest at 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM, plus additional activities for kids. See you at Volunteer Hall for family-friendly fun with great prizes valued over $500, including $300 in cash!
Fall PEP Talks
The PEP Talks Series, Promote Enterprising Performance, is designed to provide information, tips, best practices, and resources on various topics to help strengthen businesses and organizations in our community. MI Chamber members and non-members are invited to attend any or all of the series led by local leaders in their respective fields of expertise.
The 2015 fall Series includes three different workshops, one per month October-December. Each workshop will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and include light refreshments. Cost per workshop is $10 for MI Chamber members and $15 for non-members.
